Guangzhou Innogen Pharmaceutical (HKG:2591) has enrolled and dosed the first patient in the Phase 1b clinical trial of Efsubaglutide Alfa for the treatment of adolescent obesity, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The company said that no safety concerns or adverse reactions were observed during the post-dosing observation period.
Shares of the pharma company were up more than 2% in Wednesday morning trade.
