Columbia Sportswear (COLM) reported Q2 earnings late Thursday of $0.52 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.19 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.39.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $614.4 million, up from $605.2 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $607.0 million.
The company expects Q3 EPS of $1.15 to $1.35 on revenue of $929 million to $943 million. Analysts expect $1.55 and $972.3 million, respectively.
