MT Newswires Live07-30

SK Telecom (KRX:017670), investment firm Sixth Street Partners, Singaporean state investor GIC, and Canada's La Caisse are among bidders for a "significant" stake in Bridge Data Centres, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

Bain Capital is considering selling about 50% of the Singapore-based data center operator while retaining the remaining stake, in a deal valued at over $4 billion, according to the report.

Citigroup Inc. and JPMorgan Chase are working on the transaction, the report said.

Considerations are ongoing, and the stake size and valuation may change, the report added.

SK Telecom, Sixth Street Partners, GIC, La Caisse, Bain, and Bridge Data Centres did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of SK Telecom rose nearly 3% in recent trade.
