0907 GMT - Bank of Japan will likely stand pat at the end of its two-day meeting Friday, J.P. Morgan Private Bank's Yuxuan Tang says in a research note, citing market consensus. The forecast comes after the central bank raised the policy rate to 1% in June, the Asia head of rates & FX strategy says. Markets currently price in only one additional full rate hike by the end of the year, Tang says. "Softening inflation and weak wage growth justify the market's dovish pricing," she says. Inflation measures moderated in 2Q thanks to sizable government subsidies despite the energy shock, and real wage growth has remained around zero, she adds.
