GSK (GSK) licensor Hansoh's phase 3 trial of risvutatug rezetecan in osteosarcoma, the most common primary bone cancer, achieved its primary endpoint in progression-free survival, GSK said Tuesday.

The trial, which was conducted in China in patients with osteosarcoma who have progressed or relapsed after receiving at least two prior lines of systemic therapy, showed that the therapy led to a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival compared with chemotherapy, according to the statement.

Hansoh also reported consistent benefit across secondary endpoints like overall survival, GSK added.

Safety profile was consistent with previous findings in the same tumor type, with no new safety signals identified, the company said. Hansoh will use the trial data for regulatory submissions in China, GSK said.
