Collective Mining will transfer its listing to the Nasdaq market from the New York Stock Exchange, the latest shift for the resources company after it recently moved to Florida from Canada.
Executive Chairman Ari Sussman said a listing on the highest tier of Nasdaq marks another milestone in the company's evolution and better reflects an expanding capital markets position.
Joining the Nasdaq Global Select Market is expected to boost Collective's visibility within the U.S. investment community and broaden access to institutional and retail investors, Sussman said.
The last day of trading on the NYSE American is expected to be Aug. 10, with trading on Nasdaq starting the following day under the same CNL symbol. The company's Toronto Stock Exchange listing will be unchanged.
The Colombia-focused gold, silver, copper and tungsten exploration company in March relocated its executive headquarters to Miami from Toronto, though its jurisdiction of incorporation remains in Canada.
