MISC's (KLSE:MISC) received a letter of award from Malaysia LNG for a long-term charter for a newly built 18,700 cubic meter LNG carrier, according to a Friday Bursa Malaysia filing.
The shipping and marine services company has also signed a shipbuilding contract with China's Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the vessel's construction.
The charter will run for a period of 10 years with commencement expected in 2028, while the company's subsidiary will provide LNG shipping services.
