Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Revises Share Figures After Treasury Share Cancellation

Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (TYO:8316) revised share figures after its stock split, following the cancellation of a portion of its treasury shares, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The financial services group said that following the revision, the total number of issued shares before the split was revised downwards to about 3.80 billion from about 3.83 billion.

The total number of issued shares following the stock split is also revised downward to about 7.60 billion from about 7.66 billion.

The total number of authorized shares following the stock split remains the same at about 18 billion.
