SoftBank Group's Attributable Net Income Rises Over 3% in Fiscal Q1

SoftBank Group (TYO:9984) reported net income attributable to owners of 150.1 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, up 3.3% from 145.3 billion a year earlier.

Earnings per share rose to 3.07 yen from 2.97 yen a year earlier, the company said in a Tokyo bourse filing Tuesday.

The Japanese multinational investment holding company's revenue grew 9.4% year on year to 1.815 trillion yen from 1.659 trillion yen.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, SoftBank forecasts attributable net income of 560.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 11.54 yen, and revenue of 7.500 trillion yen.

The company plans interim and year‑end dividends of 4.40 yen per share each for the current year, slightly above last year, the filing said.
