Fosun Pharma Units Get Registration Nod for Two Drugs in China

Two units of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical's (HKG:2196) obtained drug registration approval for certain products from China's National Medical Products Administration, according to two Monday Hong Kong bourse filings.

Suzhou Erye Pharmaceutical's Polyethylene Glycol and Electrolytes Powder got approved for the indications of the treatment of chronic constipation in children aged one to 11 and fecal impaction in children from the age of five years.

Separately, Fosun Wanbang (Jiangsu) Pharmaceutical Group got a nod for Empagliflozin and Metformin Hydrochloride Sustained-release Tablets as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adult patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
