Yum China's Sales Growth, New Stores Could Boost 3Q Result

0703 GMT - Yum China's same-store sales growth and new store openings are likely to boost 3Q revenue and adjusted net profit, say China Galaxy International analysts in a note. The restaurant operator's 2Q results were solid, with operating profit margin continuing to grow. They expect new store openings and margin improvement to drive Yum China's 2026-2028 profit growth. The analysts raise their 2026-2028 earnings per share projections by 0.2%-0.9% on likely higher sales. China Galaxy International raises its target price to 467.00 Hong Kong dollars from HK$466.00 while maintaining an add rating. Shares rise 3.3% to HK$385.20.
