Supernus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (SUPN) reported a Q2 net loss Monday of $1.01 per share, swinging from earnings of $0.40 a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected earnings of $0.04 per share.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $219.1 million, up from $165.5 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $205.3 million.
Supernus now expects fiscal 2026 revenue of about $860 million to $890 million, compared with its previous outlook of $840 million to $870 million. Analysts expect $867.3 million.
The company had about $372.1 million in cash, cash equivalents, and current marketable securities as of June 30.
Shares of the company were up 27% in Monday premarket activity.
