No dividend was declared.\nRevenue surged 36.2% y-o-y to RMB 17.5 billion, which was attributed to the progressive construction of vessels secured at higher contract prices, a favourable product mix, and the commencement of shipbuilding activities at the Hongyuan Yard.\nGross profit grew 42.8% y-o-y to a record RMB6.35 billion, while gross margin expanded 170 basis points to 36.2%, mainly driven by the progressive construction of vessels secured at higher contract prices. Net profit margin declined to 30.6% from 1HFY2025's 32.5%.\nOn a segmental basis, revenue from shipbuilding jumped 34.8% y-o-y to RMB16.5 billion; shipping revenue rose 14.5% y-o-y to RMB585 million; and others (including terminal services, trading, manufacture and sale of steel pipe products, ship design services and investment property) increased 270% y-o-y to around RMB436 million.\nDuring the first-half of the year, the company secured US$1.75 ($2.24) billion new orders for 38 vessels, which included 25 containerships, 10 oil tankers, two gas carriers and one bulk carrier. As at June 30, orderbook stood at US$22.4 billion across 256 vessels, with deliveries scheduled through to 2030. In July, the shipyard secured additional US$0.21 billion new orders for 4 oil tankers, bringing total new orders secured in 2026 to approximately US$1.96 billion as at end-July.\nYZJ Shipbuilding executive chairman and CEO Ren Letian says that the company's record revenue and profitability reflects the company's \"prudent\" cost management and \"sophisticated\" shipbuilding capabilities. \nHe adds: \"Order-win momentum remains healthy as we secured US$1.96 billion in new orders for the first 7 months of the year, with our 2029 delivery slots nearly full.
