TripAdvisor Shares Fall After Posting Lower Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue

TripAdvisor (TRIP) shares fell by more than 20% in morning trading on Thursday after the company posted lower non-GAAP net income and revenue for Q2.

The company reported Q2 non-GAAP net income of $0.35 per diluted share, down from $0.43 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.38.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $441.9 million, down from $476 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected revenue of $506.3 million.
