XRP was trading steadily around $1.037 when mild broader-market negativity — the crypto market lost more than $199 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours — pushed XRP lower. The price of the token fell by just 2.2% to a local low of $1.014.Under normal conditions, this would be an ordinary price fluctuation, but for traders using high leverage, this move lower triggered a domino effect.
