0917 GMT - Fox Corp. revenue continues to be driven by cable television even as the number of subscribers falls, as affiliates pay more to the group for broadcasting rights, Bernstein analysts write. Executives' comments that streaming service FOX One is contributing to cable distribution growth are "highly encouraging," the analysts say. Elsewhere, "advertising is the gift that keeps on giving," the analysts say. Roku, the streaming platform and hardware company, offers Fox a possible longer-term growth narrative if the acquisition is completed, they add. Fox shares slip 6.6% premarket, wiping out sharp gains made Thursday. Fox Corp. and Wall Street Journal parent News Corp share common ownership.
