Titan's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q1

Titan's (NSE:TITAN, BOM:500114) consolidated attributable profit increased to 17.8 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from 10.91 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share of the watches and accessories company came in at 20.02 rupees compared with 12.30 rupees a year earlier, according to a post-market hours filing to the Indian bourses on Friday.

Revenue from the sale of products and services in fiscal Q1 increased to 207.9 billion rupees from 148.1 billion rupees a year ago.
