Ashland (ASH) is exploring a potential sale after receiving takeover interest, following its settlement with an activist investor last month, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Ashland is working with Citigroup (C) and Lazard (LAZ) as it considers interest from strategic and financial suitors, according to the report.
