holdings to 35,577 BTC. Undoubtedly, this is still impressive, but the company is no longer among the top 3 biggest corporate holders of the leading cryptocurrency. The mining giant has now slipped to fourth place by total holdings after previously remaining in second place for a relatively long period of time. Based on BitcoinTreasuries.net data, its 35,577 BTC stash is valued at roughly $2.3 billion. To the chagrin of Bitcoin holders, the company has spent much of the year using portions of its Bitcoin reserves to strengthen its balance sheet and boost liquidity. cardEarlier this year, MARA sold more than 15,000 BTC to repurchase more than $1 billion of convertible debt at a discount. BTC miners often liquidate a portion of their holdings.
