Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) reported Q2 net income Wednesday of 1.38 New Taiwan dollars per share, up from NT$1.31 a year earlier.
An analyst polled by FactSet expected NT$1.38.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was NT$61.36 billion, compared with NT$56.73 billion a year earlier.
An analyst expected NT$61.93 billion.
