Damora Therapeutics (DMRA) said Wednesday it initiated a global Phase 1/1b clinical trial of DMR-001 in patients with mutant calreticulin-driven essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis.

The open-label, multicenter CLARITY-101 study will evaluate the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of the investigational monoclonal antibody therapy.

The dose-escalation portion will begin with a 100-milligram monthly subcutaneous dose and is designed to identify a recommended dose for further development.

A planned expansion phase will assess DMR-001 in additional patient groups, earlier treatment settings and combinations with other therapies.

Damora expects to report initial trial data beginning in mid-2027, the biotechnology company said.
