ACADIA Pharmaceuticals' Q2 Daybue Sales Beat on Stix Formulation Uptake Supports Improved Outlook, RBC Says

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals' (ACAD) Daybue sales beat in Q2 due to the Stix formulation uptake on a better tolerability profile support an improved outlook, while Nuplazid to treat hallucinations linked with Parkinson's disease continues to perform solidly, RBC Capital Markets said in a research report emailed Wednesday.

An expected European Union launch in Q4 in Germany, followed by other countries, and with 60% of June US scripts being for Stix, could support 2026 sales of up to $500 million, according to the note.

The company's Remlifanserin to treat hallucinations related to Alzheimer's disease is now the near-term focal point, with trial enrolment complete and readout window narrowing, analysts wrote.

The brokerage said it reiterated its outperform rating on the stock and boosted its price target to $37 per share from $36.
