Better Home & Finance Shares Fall After CEO Transition

Better Home & Finance (BETR) shares were down more than 36% in Tuesday trading, a day after the company said founder Vishal Garg "mutually agreed" with the board to step down as chief executive officer, effective immediately.

The company said Monday that Garg will continue to serve on the board to ensure a smooth transition.

The company said board member Daniel Lewis has been appointed as interim CEO, effective immediately.

Additionally, Better Home said it expects to report Q2 revenue of $54.7 million when it reports its quarterly financial results on Thursday.
