Black Bear Minerals (ASX:BKB) identified high-grade silver mineralization during recent drilling at its Shafter Silver Project in Texas, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were of up to 3.7 meters at 47 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from surface, and 0.6 meters at 169 g/t silver from 11 meters, with polymetallic mineralization also confirmed in historic core, including 8.5 meters at 0.3 g/t gold and up to 0.7 g/t gold.
With twin-hole drilling and historic core re-analysis returning higher contained silver and polymetallic mineralization, the historic core review will now be extended to all available legacy drill programs, the filing added.
