True North Copper (ASX:TNC) delivered an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Wynberg project in Queensland of 1 million tonnes at 1.86 grams per tonne grade of gold and 0.25% copper for 61,000 ounces of gold and 3,000 tonnes of copper, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The previous MRE stood at 639,000 tonnes at 2.7 g/t grade of gold, the filing said.
The updated MRE includes additional drilling, specifically grade control drilling, as well as refined geological modelling, per the filing.
Shares rose 6% in morning trade Wednesday.
