Charter Communications Prices $4.75 Billion Notes Offering

Charter Communications (CHTR) has priced an offering of $4.75 billion in senior secured notes across four series, the company said late Thursday.

The offering includes $1.75 billion of 6.050% notes due 2032 priced at 99.839% of face value, $1 billion of 6.600% notes due 2034 priced at 99.896% of par, $1 billion of 6.950% notes due 2036 priced at 99.937%, and $1 billion of 7.850% notes due 2056 priced at 99.921%, the company said.

Charter said net proceeds will be used to partially fund its pending Cox Communications acquisition and for general corporate purposes.

Closing is expected to occur on Aug. 18, subject to customary closing conditions.
