Axcelis reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings Thursday of $1.06 per share, down from $1.13 a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $0.89.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $215.2 million, up from $194.5 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $205 million.
The company expects Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $1.11 per share on revenue of about $230 million. Analysts expect Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $1.04 on revenue of $214.8 million.
