MT Newswires Live08-07

$Bank of America Corp(BAC-N)$ (BAC) co-head of investment banking, Mike Joo, is leaving the firm for an external opportunity, Reuters reported Thursday, citing an internal memo.

Faiz Ahmad and Karim Assef will continue to lead the planning, direction and daily operations of BofA's global investment banking business, the report said.

Joo, a 20-year veteran of the bank, was named co-head of global investment banking alongside Ahmad last year as part of a broader leadership reshuffle, according to the report.

Bank of America did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
