Halozyme Therapeutics Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Gain After Hours

Halozyme Therapeutics (HALO) reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $2.28 per diluted share, up from $1.54 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.79.

Revenue in the three months ended June 30 rose to $481 million from $325.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts projected $402.3 million.

The company increased full-year guidance to adjusted EPS of $8.65 to $9 on revenue of $1.835 billion to $1.91 billion. The prior outlook was EPS of $7.75 to $8.25 on revenue of $1.71 billion to $1.81 billion.

Analysts project EPS $7.94 on revenue of $1.77 billion.

Halozyme shares rose 4.9% in after-hours trading.
