Monadelphous Group (ASX:MND) secured a construction contract worth around AU$200 million from BHP Group (ASX:BHP) for the Port Debottlenecking Project 2 at the Nelson Point Port Facility in Port Hedland, Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The contract includes the installation and commissioning of structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems for the new Car Dumper 6 and its associated materials handling infrastructure, per the filing.
Work will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by 2028, the filing added.
