SK Hynix (SKHY) is seeking options for its Chongqing, China-based facility, including a stake sale valuing the asset at about $3 billion, to help further growth, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
According to the report, suitors may include Chinese funds and industry players, with SK Hynix expected to retain a minority stake in the facility.
Deliberations are in early stages and may not materialize into any transaction, Bloomberg reported.
SK Hynix did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
