These Analysts Boost Their Forecasts On Essent Group After Upbeat Q2 Results

Essent Group Ltd (NYSE:ESNT) on Friday posted better-than-expected results for the second quarter.

The company reported quarterly earnings of $2.08 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.74 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $362.686 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $326.491 million.

“We are pleased with our second quarter 2026 financial results, which reflect strong profitability, continued growth in book value per share and the resilience of our operating model,” said Mark A. Casale, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “The consistent cash flow generation of our mortgage insurance business, combined with our strong capital position, allows us to take a balanced approach to capital management and to continue creating long-term value for our shareholders.”

Essent Group shares fell 0.3% to trade at $68.53 on Monday.

These analysts made changes to their price targets on Essent Group following earnings announcement.

  • Barclays analyst Terry Ma maintained the stock with an Equal-Weight rating and raised the price target from $62 to $65.
  • RBC Capital analyst Rowland Mayor maintained the stock with a Sector Perform and raised the price target from $68 to $75.
