Janus Living's Growing Seniors Housing Footprint Should Support Higher Organic Growth, RBC Capital Markets Says

Janus Living (JAN) is rapidly expanding its seniors housing footprint through aggressive capital deployments, and these deals are meaningfully accretive and should support higher organic growth, RBC Capital Markets said in a Monday research report.

For 2026, 2027, and 2028, the brokerage said it raised its funds from operations estimates to $0.98, $1.20, and $1.43, respectively, from $0.97, $1.17, and $1.39 earlier, on a faster-than-expected investment pace, as well as improved cost of capital.

The company's elevated investment pace could continue in the near-term, but it could eventually moderate over the coming years, according to the note.

The company's cash reserves are sufficient to fund the planned investments

through 2026 without needing to access equity markets, analysts wrote.

The brokerage said it reiterated its outperform rating on the stock and boosted its price target to $34 per share from $30.
