Market Chatter: Toyota Recalls 508,354 US Vehicles Over Instrument Cluster Issue

Toyota Motor (TM) is recalling 508,354 vehicles in the US, including certain 2025-2026 Camry Hybrid vehicles, due to an instrument cluster display issue, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

A failure in the instrument cluster display during vehicle startup may deactivate the hazard lights, turn signals, seat belt warning system and smart key reminder, which increases the risk of a crash or injury, according to the NHTSA.

Dealers will update the display software free of charge, the regulator said.

Toyota did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
