TechnipFMC was awarded a contract valued at $75 million to $250 million by Azule Energy to supply flexible flowlines and risers for the West Hub Tails project in Angola.

The Newcastle, U.K.-and Houston-based energy-services company said Tuesday it will design and manufacture flexible flowlines, risers and related equipment for the project, which is an extension of the Block 15/06 Agogo Integrated Development.

The equipment will accommodate production from the West Hub area for consolidation into the Agogo floating production, storage and offloading vessel, TechnipFMC said.

The award will be included in TechnipFMC's inbound orders for the third quarter.

TechnipFMC said the project builds on its work supporting the Agogo development, including two previous phases.

Azule Energy is a joint venture between BP and Eni, with each company holding a 50% share, according to the company's website. The company currently operates 11 blocks in Angola and is also exploring new opportunities in neighboring Namibia.
