Unitree Robotics (SHA:688836) has triggered a mandatory clawback reallocation for its initial public offering (IPO) on the STAR Market board in Shanghai after retail demand exceeded thresholds.

During the preliminary subscription phase, the online retail pool saw valid retail bids exceeding the online allocation of 6.47 million shares by about 8,288.82 times.

Because this surpassed the exchange's regulatory limit of 100 times, CITIC Securities was required to activate the overallotment clawback mechanism.

The clawback increased the online tranche to 30% of the net offering, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Priced at 150.80 yuan per share, the robotics company is issuing a total of 40.45 million shares, with CITIC Securities acting as the lead sponsor and underwriter.
