Descartes Systems Group (DSGX) said Tuesday that logistics specialist ArrowXL by JP Home cut its delivery vehicle mileage by roughly 13% using its route optimization software suite.
The software platform uses artificial intelligence to streamline delivery schedules, increase revenue per route and lower overall vehicle wear, the company said.
The implementation also enhanced delivery confirmation processes and appointment scheduling for the home delivery provider, Descartes said.
