MT Newswires Live08-11

National Australia Bank on Monday appointed Jon Benson, Group General Counsel, to its Executive Leadership Team effective Oct. 1, as part of a broader executive reshuffle.

Patrick Wright, Group Executive Technology and Enterprise Operations, and Group Chief Operating Officer Les Matheson will both retire from NAB on Sept. 30, with Wright serving as special adviser to CEO Andrew Irvine before fully retiring in the first half of 2027.

Their responsibilities will be reallocated as Pete Steel becomes Group Executive Technology and AI and Shane Conway becomes Group Executive Transformation and Operations, National Australia Bank said.

The number of Group Executives will be reduced by one as a result of the changes.
