Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) began diamond drilling at the North Peters prospect, part of the Greater Oko project in Guyana, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Reverse circulation drilling at North Peters is expected to start in the coming week. Around 10,000 meters of diamond drilling and 5,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling were allocated to North Peters over two phases.
Its shares jumped 7% in recent trading on Monday.
