Market Chatter: Paramount Could Leave California in October Amid Warner Bros. Deal Antitrust Fight

MT Newswires Live08-12 16:28

Paramount Skydance (PSKY) could begin moving out of California as soon as October if the company is unable to make progress toward settling a multistate antitrust lawsuit seeking to block its proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), The Wall Street Journal reported late Tuesday, citing a Paramount executive.

A potential move out of California, which is among the states that have filed the suit, is on the table, Paramount Chief Legal Officer Makan Delrahim told the publication.

Potential locations include Tennessee, Texas and Georgia, according to the report.

Paramount didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
