Tokio Marine Holdings Attributable Income Rises 3% in Fiscal Q1

Tokio Marine Holdings (TYO:8766) posted a 3.3% year-over-year increase in net income attributable to owners of the parent to 264.3 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 256 billion yen.

The Japan-based insurer's earnings per share increased to 138.16 yen from 133.38 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

Insurance revenue jumped 12% to 2.05 trillion yen from 1.82 trillion yen in the year-ago period.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts attributable income of 830 billion yen and basic EPS of 441.83 yen.

The company plans to pay a second-quarter dividend of 122.50 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
