U.S. music superstar Beyonce has acquired full control of SirDavis, the whiskey label she founded in partnership with a subsidiary of France's LVMH.
The luxury-goods conglomerate sold its shares in the brand to the singer, the company said, without disclosing specifics as to the stake's size or the financials of the deal.
In 2024, Beyonce partnered with LVMH's Moet Hennessy to create SirDavis, as the company explored ways to strengthen its presence in the American whiskey market.
The singer joined with the company to create what she described as her ideal whiskey.
The liquor label is named in honor of Davis Hogue, Beyonce's paternal great-grandfather, who made moonshine during Prohibition and used to hide his bottles in the empty knots of cedar trees on his farm.
SirDavis is finished, blended and bottled in Beyonce's home state of Texas.
