Lotus Resources Says Acid Production, Uranium Processing Resume at Malawi Mine; Shares Jump 6%

MT Newswires Live08-12 09:23

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) said that both acid production and uranium processing have resumed at its Kayelekera uranium mine in Malawi, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Processing was suspended in June after the partial failure of refractory bricks within the sulfur furnace and the disruption of third-party acid supply. Interim furnace repair works are now complete, and the acid supply is replenished.

Its shares rose 6% in recent trading on Wednesday.
