Tata Motors (NSE:TMCV, BOM:544569) recorded a rise in attributable profit for the first fiscal quarter to 25.6 billion Indian rupees from 14 billion rupees a year prior.
Earnings per share increased to 6.95 rupees from 3.79 rupees previously, according to a Wednesday Indian bourse filing.
Revenue from operations increased 19% to 206.7 billion rupees from 173.2 billion rupees.
