Korea Electric Power's Attributable Net Income Plunges 77% in Q2

Korea Electric Power (KRX:015760) posted a 77% year-over-year decline in net income attributable to shareholders of the parent to 267.3 billion won in the second quarter from 1.137 trillion won, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.

Sales decreased 0.1% to 21.918 trillion won for the three months ended June 30 from 21.950 trillion won a year earlier.

Shares of Korea Electric Power rose nearly 1% at market close.
