Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) has finished constructing a new HVAC production line for Fläkt Group in Pune, India, strengthening its push into the AI data center market.

The 13,826-sqm facility, completed in six months, will produce up to 6,500 HVAC units annually alongside the existing Noida plant, according to a statement on Thursday.

Pune's strategic location near the Mumbai Port and its growing data center infrastructure make it an ideal hub for faster regional customer delivery.

The production line will manufacture key cooling solutions including Air Handling Units, Fan Wall Units, and Computer Room Air Handlers for critical facilities.

With this expansion, Samsung aims to enhance supply chain efficiency and capture rising demand for advanced HVAC systems in the region.
