Investors Await Fed Chair's Remarks at Jackson Hole Symposium

1129 GMT - Markets await remarks by U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole symposium which will take place from August 27 to 29, LBBW's Elmar Volker says in a note. Investors will seek to know how the Fed plans to restore price stability, Volker says. If Warsh fails to provide answers, investors could demand a higher risk premium on long-dated U.S. Treasurys, he says. U.S. 30-year Treasury yields rise 2.3 basis points to 5.234%, Tradeweb data show.
