President Donald Trump on August 15 issued a full endorsement on X for Florida State Representative Jon Albert, who represents the 48th State House District. Trump praised Albert's service as a Marine Corps advocate, former Mayor of Frostproof, and current state representative, highlighting his work on values, economy, taxes, manufacturing, energy, election security, immigration, military, veterans, and Second Amendment rights.
"Jon Albert has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" Trump wrote in the post, calling Albert "a Highly Respected State Representative" who has served "with distinction." The President also credited Albert with fighting to protect Florida values, grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, promote American-made products and energy dominance, safeguard elections, stop migrant crime, and strengthen the military and veterans.
The endorsement comes as Albert seeks re-election in Florida's 48th State House District, which covers parts of Polk County. Trump's statement underscores the President's continued involvement in state-level races, often backing candidates who align with his policy priorities.
