Hyundai Rotem, Korea Aerospace Team Up to Develop Long-Range Air-to-Air Missiles for KF-21

Hyundai Rotem (KRX:064350) and Korea Aerospace Industries (KRX:047810) have entered into a collaboration on aviation armament technologies, including long-range air-to-air missiles for the KF-21 fighter jet, according to a statement on Thursday.

The agreement, signed at Korea Aerospace's Sacheon headquarters on Wednesday, aims to enhance the global competitiveness of Korean defense through integrated aircraft and weapons package exports.

The partnership combines Hyundai Rotem's guided weapon and propulsion expertise with Korea Aerospace's aircraft platform capabilities to offer total solutions to international customers.

Both companies plan to jointly pursue global marketing and business opportunities while expanding cooperation in system integration and export model development.
