QXO's Potential Roofing Rebound Seen Driving Near-Term Stock Recovery, Truist Says

MT Newswires Live08-15

QXO's (QXO) residential roofing volume and pricing, along with non-residential roofing prices will improve in the latter half of 2026, with the potential rebound key for the stock move, Truist said in a note Friday.

While better second-half roofing will help lift results, investors are awaiting the "tech stack" leverage, which is currently a story for 2027, according to the note.

Roofing pricing improved sequentially across both markets during the quarter, turning positive in May after being negative in April and continuing to improve in June, according to the note.

Truist adjusted its 2026 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization estimate to $1.28 billion from $1.34 billion and its 2027 estimate to $2.13 billion from $2.26 billion.

Truist maintained its buy rating and $26 price target.
